Bio

Joey Rosin is a musician and perfumer. His work aims to explore histories, liminal spaces, and create environments for introspection, celebration, and community. He has performed across the US and Europe and is an in-demand baritone saxophonist and woodwind instrumentalist. He regularly collaborates with contemporary dancers and premiered his first show “Hand in Hand” with Hannah Wagner at The Tank in May 2025. He holds degrees from the University of Miami Frost School of Music (B.M. ’17) and the New England Conservatory (M.M. ’21).

While maintaining an active music career, he is the perfumer for his fragrance house, Hoax Parfum, and is a Junior Perfumer for Michael Nordstrand of Mythologist Studio™. He has formulated for Rite of Way, Tsu Lange Yor, Sable Yong, and the Horological Society of New York, among others. His fragrances have been featured in GQ, Architectural Digest, the Robb Report, and High Snobiety.

Whether it be sonic or olfactive, Joey immerses himself in the subject of his work.
